Egypt wins U-23 AFCON title for the first time in the history

The second extra half of the Egyptian Olympic team match with Cote d'Ivoire ended with the Egyptian national team win 2-1 in the match held this evening, at Cairo International Stadium, in the final of the African Cup of Nations under 23 years.

Egyptian player Karim Al Iraqi opened the scoring in the 37th minute and Cote d'Ivoire equalized in the 89th minute with a deadly goal scored by Abu Bakr Doumbia, ending the original time with a 1-1 draw for the referee to resort to additional time to determine the winner . 

Egyptian player managed to score the second goal for Egypt in the 114th minute  to end the match in favor of the Pharaohs 2/1  and to win the Under 23 years African championship for the first time.
