n official source at the New and Renewable Energy Authority stressed that the largest gathering of solar energy stations will be opened in the Banban area of ​​Aswan Governorate, with a total of 32 stations with a capacity of 1465 MW in full during the next few days.

 The source added, in exclusive statements to "The Seventh Day", that according to the timetable, the construction of the entire plant was completed last October and linked to the National Electricity Network, pointing out that this project is a system of ownership, construction and operation boo in cooperation with the private sector.

 It is noteworthy that the Panban solar plant in Aswan is currently considered the capital of the world for solar energy, as it includes the largest number of power plants in the world, and there are 40 solar plants.

 It is noteworthy that the electricity sector aims to have a percentage of the capacity generated from renewable energies on the National Electricity Network 20% by 2022, pointing out that the energy strategy in Egypt until 2035 includes maximizing the participation of renewable energy in the energy mix to reach 42% in 2035.
