A nine day all-things-film extravaganza that takes over the coastal town that leaves us with a new set of indie films we’re keen to watch, a glorious amount of memes from red carpet snafus to feuds and, of course, a newfound appreciation for cinema that leaves us ooh-ing and ahh-ing.
So on this anniversary, #GFF decided to pop up on a quaint Sunday night to unveil the official poster for the 4th edition, meant to take place this October. With the central theme of #GFF20 being #CultureOfDreams, the young festival’s going for a dreamy and bright visual affair that’s reminiscent of its location, as well as its position within the global film community as a burgeoning international film festival that celebrates the core essence of cinema: people.
“El Gouna Film Festival has sought to reimagine ways to come together amid uncertain times by rising to the challenge and working towards making this 4th Edition a dream come true for many participants on the platform and a success story among visitors and audiences from El Gouna and from around the world,” said #GFF in a press release announcing the poster.
El Gouna Film Festival is set to take place from October 23rd to 31st 2020. Stay tuned
