Deputy Governor of the Red Sea and Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority inspected this week the work progress in the industrial zone of Hurghada
Dr. Yousra Attia, Deputy Governor of the Red Sea, accompanied by Eng. Magdy Ghazi, Chairman of the Industrial Development Authority, on Tuesday afternoon, visited the industrial city of Hurghada.
The Deputy Governor confirmed that this industrial zone was constructed as a kind of attraction of industrial investment to the governorate, with environmental controls and requirements that correspond to the nature of the coastal province.
The MP added that the project of the complex of industries in Hurghada will work to open many job opportunities for the people and people of the Red Sea, through the establishment of small factories on areas ranging between 300 meters and 600 meters and multiples according to the possibility of the plant and equipment, and will be attached to a special store for each factory to store production requirements as well The product to the consumer, and provide a transportation line to transport workers to and from the city.
For his part, the head of the Industrial Development Authority said that the city was constructed through the initiative of the President of the Republic to develop small industrial projects, adding that the handover of the units will be completed soon, while overcoming obstacles for investors.
It is noteworthy that the complex of small factories in Hurghada is built on an area of 189 thousand square meters at a total cost exceeding 500 million pounds, and that this project is being built in two phases and includes 218 small factories and micro factories.
