Liverpool star Mohamed Salah have involved in a massive dispute with Egypt Football association after being deprived from Egypt votes at FIFA’s Best awards
Liverpool star -Mohamed Salah started already cutting all ties with the Egyptian FA after a big disagreement with his country’s FA , which reached boiling point after last night’s FIFA’s Best awards.
the row reason was the Egyptian FA’s decision to not vote in the FIFA’s Best awards.
Salah didn’t even get his own country’s backing as he hoped to compete with Lionel Messi and christiano Ronaldo to win the FIFA Player of the Year award.
The national team captain, a coach and a member of the media of each country are given a vote for the prestigious award, but it turned out that journalist Hany Danial was the only person who voted.
Egypt captain and Aston Villa player Elmohamady and Olympic team coach Shawky Ghareeb said they have both voted for Salah, but their votes weren’t registered.
Salah has had previous disputes with the Eguptian football association that are documented. It’s strange to see Egypt’s Football association treating their country’s best player like this.
